Product Name Anti - beta - Actin (NT) Antibody, polyclonal
Size 50 µg
Catalog # 54591
US$ $193
Description

Host: Rabbit

Species Reactivity: Human, mouse, rat

Application: WB, IHC, ELISA

Product Description: Anti-beta-Actin (NT) rabbit polyclonal antibody is supplied as an epitope-affinity purified rabbit IgG 50 µg in 250 µl (0.2 mg/ml) of 1x PBS (pH 7.4) containing 0.05% sodium azide.

Immunogen: Rabbit polyclonal anti-beta-actin (NT) was raised against a 21 amino acid peptide from near the N-terminus (NT) of human beta-actin (Genbank accession NP_001092.1).

Application Notes: The following concentration ranges are recommended starting points. Optimal working concentration for specific application should be determined by the investigator.

ELISA for immunizing peptide: 1: 5,000-20,000
Western blot: 1: 500-1,000

Figure 2. Western blot of β-actin in 3T3 cell lysate probed with rabbit polyclonal Anti-beta-Actin (NT) antibody (Cat# 54591). An immunoreactive band at ~42 kDa was detected (Lane A); the band was blocked by the immunizing peptide (Lane B). Goat anti-rabbit IgG (H+L), highly cross-adsorbed, HiLyte™ Fluor 750-labeled secondary antibody (Cat# 61056-05-H750 or 61056-1-H750) was used and the signals detected using an infrared-imaging system (Odyssey, Li-Cor).

Goat anti-rabbit IgG (H+L), highly cross-adsorbed, HiLyte™ Fluor 750-labeled secondary antibody (Cat# 61056-05-H750 or 61056-1-H750) was used and the signals detected using an infrared-imaging system (Odyssey, Li-Cor).
